After college I got a job utilizing some of the skills learned throughout my college career. It wasn't until my wife and I found out we were having twins, that I began looking for a side business to start that could help us financially to raise not one baby but two. I had a few family and friends in real estate at the time and one of them saw something in me that I hadn't yet. They knew I was well rounded creatively and asked if I'd be willing to help them with photography and marketing. That was the day West & Main was born.
After two years of learning and growing my business I was laid off due to covid cutbacks at my main job. My business was doing very well and I made the decision to continue doing something I loved and looked forward to everyday because working in the space you are passionate about is priceless. Today West & Main runs as a well greased machine with people I've entrusted to operate the business. Real estate is a volatile industry and my take away from my experience in it is that I belong in a creative role on a thriving team.
